I turn thirty tomorrow. Yup, the big 3-0. So this weekend, I've reverted back to childhood. Yesterday, the hubby and I went to Young's Jersey Dairy and enjoyed huge ice cream sundaes. Today, we built a blanket fort in the family room. It was great. T-Rex said I could choose what we did this weekend, being near my birthday and all, so in just a few minutes I'm making him take me to the range for some pew pew pewing. Shooting, that is. Gotta work on those skills. T-Rex introduced me to the imaginative worlds of Larry Correia, and I've quickly become a fan of his work and agree with a lot of what he says on his blog, Monster Hunter Nation. Having stayed up until 3:00 AM reading the third book in the Monster Hunter International series last night, I'm so in the mood to hear the pops, bangs and booms of the firing line. I've got such a wicked smile on my face right now.
