Walking Meditation
Okay, so I haven't done very well with my daily meditations this month. I will admit that it's because I fill my time with other things and mainly stay, well, distracted. Today, however, I got back on track. The last couple of weeks I've been suffering from lower back pain, and I'm not sure what caused it. Today it bothers me so much that I can't sit still for very long, much less in one position. So today I tried walking meditation. I'm still not good at focusing my thoughts, especially when I've got pain to distract me. I walked a figure eight track in our living room, just focusing on breathing with my steps - inhale, step left leg, exhale, step right leg. It didn't help much, but I think I just kept getting distracted. I gotta do better about focusing my thoughts.
