It's been a bit since I've posted, but there really hasn't been much going on. Yesterday was spent cooking and cleaning - "The way it should be," jokes T-Rex, before he sheepishly cowers and says, "Don't hit me!" We had delicious terriyaki chicken dinner from the crock-pot. I'm becoming quite domesticated!
I am excited to have Mom and Dad coming up for dinner on Saturday. I'll be cooking chicken parisienne in the crock pot, so it will be easy for me. I just need to get the apartment spic and span to impress. After 27 years of seeing my room a mess and yelling at me to clean it, I'd like to show them that I have learned something and can keep a clean home! It really doesn't get too bad, though.
T-Rex has been doing well keeping up with his bike rides. Yesterday he rode to work, and he's planning to again today. He got the official 100 Miles t-shirt and plans to wear it to work for casual Friday. I'm so proud of him. The forecast calls for rain the Friday of the ride, but we're hoping that is wrong and it turns into a beautiful day for riding. I know today promises to be fantastic, so hopefully everyone gets a chance to enjoy it!
